A medium-weight silk with 45-degree twill parallel grain, soft to the touch, slightly shiny and elastic, relatively thicker and less permeable, be more careful when applying gutta or resist to ensure penetration.

Silk satin has a very natural bright luster which makes it looks very noble, smooth and soft to the touch, it has strong dyes absorption, resulting in a look with higher color saturation and brightness.

Silk chiffon is a light, transparent and elegant fabric. It has good air permeability and drapability. It is good for painting free flowing and blended colours but not recommended to use with silk dyes.

silk habotai has a tight and fine texture, soft to the touch and durable, with paper like surface, suitable for painting and dyeing, especially for beginners, after dyeing and washing, fabrics become soft.

Silk georgette satin has the bright and smooth texture of satin and the loose and fluffy structure of georgette. Whether it is dyed or hand-painted, its color is uniform, shiny and gorgeous.

Silk paj has the same smooth texture as habotai, and lighter, more transparent and soft, has excellent drape and is very floaty, which is an ideal fabric for a wide variety of silk painting and silk dyeing.

Silk organza is a sheer, crisp fabric has natural sizing and durable with a firm hand and a flat, smooth texture, which works well dyeing or printing when layered up with other background colours. 

Silk cotton is 30% silk and 70% cotton. It combines the softness and smoothness of silk and sweat-absorbing properties of cotton. It improves the color fastness of fabric which is good for dyeing or printing.

Silk crepe de chine has fine and uniform wrinkles surface, it is soft and smooth. After fully absorbing the dye, its surface  reflects different vibrant shades, creating the appearance of a more saturated color.

Silk wool is 30/42% silk and 70/58% wool, lightweight and semi-sheer fabric, this fabric is softer than wool, but warmer than silk, dyes cannot easily penetrate the wool fiber which is not a good choice for beginner.

Silk modal is 15% silk and 85% modal.   The fabric is soft and smooth, has a little cashmere feeling, modal fiber absorbs pigment in the same way cotton does, making it an easy fiber to dye or paint.
